Mexico: Children Suffer Violence and Lack Rights

Mexico is one of the countries where violence is most exercised against children and young adults. Physical abuse and homicide are the main threats to these groups. Up to 2009, the National Agency for Family Development (Sistema Nacional para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia, DIF) confirmed 20 thousand child abuse cases.
