country specific projections of climate change

There are a growing number of sources of information on country specific projections of climate change, climate impacts, and ongoing efforts to improve resilience. A German NGO, Germanwatch, periodically ranks countries according to the impacts of natural disasters. Their most recent report in November 2014 ranks countries for both the year 2012 and the period 1993-2012 (https://germanwatch.org/en/download/8551.pdf)). Another country specific ranking is the ND-Gain Index, which summarizes a country’s vulnerability to climate change and other global challenges in combination with its readiness to improve resilience. (Available free online: http://index.gain.org/)). The Climate Change Vulnerability Index is a product of Maplecroft, a risk advisory services company. While its detailed reports are proprietary and require payment, an annual global summary is freely available (http://maplecroft.com/portfolio/new-analysis/2014/10/29/climate-change-and-lack-food-security-multip…).
